What is Eco-Aviation Foundation International?
A Non-Profit International Foundation bringing together all participants in the revolution of green aviation.
Our Mission/Purpose:
● To promote awareness and early‐adoption of the new low‐to‐zero emissions aircraft technologies.
● To facilitate worldwide input from Eco‐Aviation stakeholders in building a sustainable and community friendly model for urban airports.
● To promote and provide education regarding the new “eco” aircraft technologies.
● To promote and provide scholarships and other educational opportunities to underprivileged teens and young adults, enabling them to pursue careers in new “green” aviation and aerospace engineering.
● The Foundation’s outreach is worldwide, and will also offer local support for airport communities to “GO GREEN!”
What is an Electric Aircraft?
An electric aircraft is an aircraft powered by electric motors. Electricity may be supplied by a variety of methods including batteries, auxiliary power unites, ground power cables, solar cells, ultracapacitors, fuel cells and power beaming.
What is the average percentage range that annual operating costs go down with an electric aircraft?
These numbers are yet TBD. That said, we expect them based on projections we’ve seen to go down between 40% and 70% depending on a variety of factors. That makes this movement towards electrified flight that much more exciting: it not only makes aircraft far more friendly to those on the ground by cutting pollution to near 0 and cutting noise down by as much as 90% AND reducing the cost of transport! Sounds like a win-win-win, wouldn’t you say?!

What is Biofuel?
A biofuel is a fuel that is produced through contemporary biological processes, such as agriculture and anaerobic digestion, rather than a fuel produced by geological processes such as those involved in the formation of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum, from prehistoric biological matter.

When is the first electric airliner expected to be flying?
Very soon! There is already a commuter electric aircraft being built in Israel. Boeing, NASA, and Falcon are already testing their prototypes.
